Error Message: "Acquiring GPS Lock"
|
- Is the unit in a garage or covered parking?

Solution: Move the vehicle outside of the structure
- Is the antenna upside down?

Solution: Make sure the antenna is placed with the adhesive side facing up
- Is something blocking the antenna's view of the sky?

Solution: Remove the object blocking the antenna, metal clipboards or sun visors can weaken the signal
- Did the antenna fall from it's mounted position in the dash?

Solution: Re-attach the antenna securely to the dash
- Can the antenna see enough of the sky to get an accurate reading?

Solution: Adjust Antenna Placement or Purchase External Antenna

Error Message: "Unit not Currently Connected to Network"

- Has the unit left the cell phone coverage area?

Solution:Move Vehicle Back Into Coverage Area
- One of the Units Automatic Reporting Features Changed

Solution: The unit can take up to 20 minutes to update
- Did the battery go dead in the vehicle, or was the battery disconnected?

Solution: Unplug the Wiring Harness from the unit and plug it back in after the battery is replaced or reconnected.
- Was the unit out of cell phone range too long and go into sleep mode?

Solution: Unplug the Wiring Harness from the unit and plug it back in
- Does the unit still have a good ground and power connection?

Solution: Check Wire Connections
